A picture is worth a thousand words. A great picture of you can tell people many things about you, your personality and interests. Having a good professional photo is a great thing to have if you are applying for graduate roles after university. Come along to the Life After Uni event on Wednesday 15th March in The Atrium, Augustine House, Canterbury for the chance to have your photo taken professionally, FOR FREE.
Today is International Women’s Day 2017, a day when people all over the world come together to celebrate the triumphs, development and strength of women, as well as raising awareness of the injustices still being forced onto people across the globe. The objective is to work towards eliminating them and empowering women in their successes.
It’s Pancake Day next week, one of the most glorious days of the year. A day when eating pancakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner cannot be frowned upon and supermarkets are overflowing with chocolate sauce, lemon juice and sugar! As well as this, and marking the end of the month, we do want to flip your attention over to a few things that will be happening over the next 7 days and give a taste of things to come in March:
