Further Education (FE) is a diverse and passionate sector with exciting and wide ranging teaching opportunities available in colleges and Independent Training Providers, who offer a vast range of academic and vocational programmes.
Careers advice appointments are currently unavailable to book. If you feel as though you need to book a place, here are some points to remember:
Committing to extra-curricular experience alongside university can be a daunting decision to make. Studying seems to take up 99.9% of your time already, so the idea of committing to anything else can seem like a wholly impossible task. On the other hand, with constant reminders of how competitive the graduate job hunt can be, and just how many applicants there are for each job (around 118!), having some extra-curricular experience under your belt might just be the difference between landing an interview, or not.

This year’s Creative Careers Festival held on the 25th April was excellent. There were a mix of businesses there doing different things and in need of fresh new talent. I was fortunate as I already knew of some of the companies there, such as Red Sprout and Moodle Media.
