Studying seems to take up 99.9% of your time already, so the idea of committing to anything else can seem like a wholly impossible task. On the other hand, with constant reminders of how competitive the graduate job hunt can be, and just how many applicants there are for each job (around 118!), having some extra-curricular experience under your belt might just be the difference between landing an interview, or not.
