Apprenticeships – Not for me surely? Wrong!

You may have heard plenty of talk in the press and across the sector about the drive to extend apprenticeship opportunities. All large employers now have to pay an apprenticeship levy to fund this; as an employer and provider of programmes we have the opportunity to draw back on that fund to create places and programmes. Many of these will be bringing new staff into the University, but there are also opportunities for existing colleagues, as they are available at a variety of levels from foundation through to degree.

One in particular might be of interest to you if you would like the opportunity to study for a degree and a professional qualification in management, whilst continuing to work here at the University. We have places available on the new BSc Hons in Management (Professional Practice) incorporating the Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship, delivered by the Business School. We are looking to enrol a cohort starting this April, so are hosting a briefing on 31st January in Ramsay building, commencing at 1.30.
