This short film includes shots of some amazing diving by Prof Bert Powsey, aged 73. This clip comes from the Herne Bay Newsreel 1938 which was shot on 9.5mm film by John Clague RIBA who produced a Herne Bay newsreel annually between 1935 and 1970. John was a keen amateur filmmaker who lived in Herne Bay but worked in Canterbury where he set up Clague Architects.
