Cathedral View.

This brief offcut of film was shot in the early 1950s by John McCallum and appears to show some prefabs. Whereabouts were these?
John set up the CACS Film Unit in 1951 and went on to have a successful career as a professional cinematographer.

  1. I believe these one-storey prefabs were in the vicinity of Canterbury Cemetery, looking from Kent College toward the Cathedral. I remember seeing them as a child circa 1963 as we visited family graves on a regular basis. The two-storey pre-fabs can still be seen in Westgate Court Road.
