We’ve had a bit of a blog break as we needed time to do some thinking and planning and, of course, enjoy the summer! But now the energy of the autumn semester is upon us and we are nearly ready to start sharing new ideas and musings with you. We have plans for a whole series of blogs on the topics we have been pondering – covering leadership, inclusion, coaching, wellbeing, hybrid working and productivity.
In the meantime, we thought we would share some brilliant quick reads we developed earlier in the year that you may have missed. Connected to the Leadership Support Circles series we ran in the Spring and early Summer, they are quick introductions to important leadership topics that I think should be on everyone’s radar (whether you are in a formal leadership position or not; I personally believe we all have a leadership role to play everyday in our work, our teams, with students or stakeholders, and in the rest of our lives too):
Although the titles might seem straightforward, they belie a tangle of tensions in how we work with each other, how we knit together our collective humanity within a frame of productivity and expectation.
How do these all show up in your leadership or relationships with colleagues? What more could you do? We would love to know what you think in the comments below.
We are developing a new programme of Leadership Circles to start in October 2021 – more information to follow about those soon…
