Want to know what development opportunities are available to support you while working at the University? Introducing the all new interactive Learning and Development Guide…
Explore the new Learning and Development Guide, Training Matrix and the list of up-coming events
We’ve been really busy in the People, Culture and Inclusion Team over the past few months, designing the best possible programme of development for our colleagues across the University. Our ongoing challenge is, how do we let our people know just what an amazing range of learning, development, resources and support there is for them?
That’s where the new Learning and Development Guide comes in. Rather than a static list of what’s on offer, we’ve created a flexible, interactive tool; combining the variety of ways colleagues can engage with their development – from live virtual sessions and E-Learning, to connecting with communities and networks, blogs and resources.
Highlights:
- Leadership and Management section, bringing together all the support for our leaders – including our all new virtual sessions on Finding Focus, Leading Hybrid Teams, Managing Difficult Conversations, Managing Team Emotions and Behaviours and HR for Managers.
- Bookable 1:1 support for: Managers, Senior Leaders, Wellbeing, Positive Performance Conversations, Further Qualifications and Coaching on your development.
- A section entitled My Positive Performance, highlighting the suite of development opportunities and guidance to support you when engaging in your Positive Performance Conversations.
- Touch of a button, direct links to book onto development events via StaffSpace.
- Links to free external events and resources that might be of interest.
And the guide will keep on growing as our development offer adapts to the needs of our community. So do keep coming back to ensure you don’t miss out!
And we welcome our CCCU community to help us build the guide into an invaluable resource. If you would like to contribute or have suggestions for further resources or workshops, please contact the People, Culture and Inclusion Team.
Happy exploring!
