Today we are celebrating the creativity and ingenuity that you have demonstrated in your pictures of both your home workstations and what you are doing in your regular breaks to help your wellbeing – thank you to everyone who has contributed.
It has been great to see the innovative solutions that you have come up with at this testing time to work as safely as you can, showing a real ‘adapt, improvise and overcome’ positive mindset.
Before…
After!
Thank you, again to everyone for sharing what is working well and you have definitely given me some new ideas on what I can do in my mini breaks. However, if it is still a struggle to achieve a good workstation set up, the Health & Safety team will soon be providing a new ‘virtual workstation assessment’ to assist you in making improvements. Check out the FAQ ‘How should I best set up my work environment?’ for details on how to arrange a virtual assessment with the Health & Safety team.
In the meantime, please ensure you have completed the H&S checklist for Remote/Home Workers and read the accompanying Essential Guidance – even if you have a successful working setup, it’s always worth regularly reviewing to see if improvements can be made!
