One of our first blogs in this series a few weeks ago signposted you to the wonderful website TED and I shared a few of my favourite talks. You may not know that the website also has an education series TED-Ed, packed full of fascinating insights. Those of you who are parents might find some of the resources helpful for your children, but there are lots of great topics for us adults too.

The lessons are framed in 4 stages:

  • Watch: a short (usually less than 5 minute) video, often animated, explaining the concept
  • Think: a few questions to answer to consolidate your learning from the video
  • Dig Deeper: more resources or ideas to dive into the topic
  • Discuss: an opportunity to contribute to an online discussion, sharing your views with others

It’s a great structure for any learning. Here are a handful that might be worth a look:
