SM4MH Simulation for Mental Health Event Day – 17th November 2021 – Depression

We are delighted to invite you to the second of our three simulation-based education events on 17th November 2021 8:30-16:30pm.

This is multi-disciplinary training event on Depression and Suicidal Ideation in the community and in physical healthcare settings so no prior mental health education is necessary. It is targeted at the following professionals in Surrey, Sussex, and Kent:

– Paramedics

– Front line police officers

– GPS

– Acute physical inpatient doctors (of any grade)

– Acute physical inpatient nurses

– Acute physical inpatient OTs

– Acute physical inpatient pharmacists

Learners will gain valuable insight and understanding into the assessment and management of persons acutely unwell with depression and experiencing suicidal ideation, both in the community setting and in a physical illness ward setting.

This event has been designed, and will be delivered by the Simulation for Mental Health Team at Canterbury Christ Church University and due to funding from HEE KSS this is offered FREE!

This is a Hybrid event and places with include face-to-face and virtual. The venue for face-to-face participants is The Verena Holmes Building, Canterbury Christ Church University.
