Help us to improve LibrarySearch

LibrarySearch logo

We run many feedback activities across the year and often get feedback about LibrarySearch, the University’s search system for all library items. LibrarySearch allows you to discover the items held in our libraries and all the digital resources we subscribe to such as e-books, e-journals and streaming media.

Some of you have let us know you find LibrarySearch difficult to use, that it’s overly complicated or doesn’t have some of the features you’re looking for. In response to your feedback, we have started a research project to explore ways to improve the LibrarySearch service… and we’d like your help!

We’re running a brief survey to help us better understand the problems that are experienced with LibrarySearch. At the end of the survey, there’s an opportunity for you to sign up to help us with some more in-depth usability testing. It doesn’t matter how much you’ve used LibrarySearch, in fact, we’re interested in alternative ways you might find information for your studies, research or teaching too. The survey will take approximately 5–10 minutes to complete.
