Augustine House – Third floor silent zone closure

Construction of a new silent study zone

To accommodate the ongoing building works in Augustine House, the third-floor silent zone will permanently close on Sunday 5 July.

Whilst we complete the construction and setup of the new third-floor silent study zone, we have a range of options to accommodate silent study:

  • From Monday 6 July a temporary silent study zone will be available in AH 3.22. The room can accommodate 20 students, and we have equipped the room with a height adjustable desk and a mixture of PCs and docking stations. The room is fully air conditioned and should be a comfortable working environment even on the hottest days of the summer. If you have any noise complaints you can still use the noisy neighbours form to let us know.
  • Alternatively, you can book one of our brand-new individual study rooms. We are introducing three new bookable individual study rooms on the ground floor of Augustine House. These rooms (AHg.46, AHg.47 and AHg.48) are located behind the Library Point. The rooms are available to book on My Bookings for any further information just ask at the Library Point.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused whilst we complete the current building works across Augustine House.
