Speaker’s Parliamentary Placement Scheme 2017-18

Applications for the Speaker’s Scheme, Parliamentary Assistant roles are now open! There are 10 positions available. These involve working with MPs from different political parties, open to those 18+. This is a great opportunity for Politics graduates or anyone else interested in working in parliament. Find out more about the role and apply here.

Unitemps Job of the Week

This week’s Job of the Week is one open to all CCCU students! If you are around the city this summer, you could earn yourself a bit of extra cash with this Open Day Helper role for 11th June.

What is an Open Day?

An Open Day is an event for prospective students to visit the university and find out more about Canterbury Christ Church.

What are the hours?

The role will be from 8.30am – 3.30pm (approx.)

What will I be doing?

Different roles are allocated on events, your role can vary from: tour guides, accommodation guides, sign posting around campus and town, working on welcome desks.

Careers Advice Appointments

If you are still not sure about what you want to do, or want to discuss a job/further study application in more detail, you can book a Careers Advice Appointment with a Careers Consultant via The CORE. http://www.canterbury.ac.uk/career-development/the-core/the-core.aspx

Face-to-face and telephone appointments are available and if you are in your final year, these are a great chance for you to get advice before you leave the university.
