The Library is always looking at ways to improve the student experience, so we’re holding an informal feedback stand on Monday 17 March, 11am – 3pm on the ground floor of Augustine House. Stop by for a few minutes, meet some of the team and tell us what you think of the library. Good or bad! We want you to help us improve! We’ve called this event Shape Our Library and we would love to hear your thoughts.

It doesn’t matter what you would like to talk about – whether it’s about the resources, borrowing, support, the space or the facilities – we want to get your opinions on it all. You may have one issue that if resolved could make all the difference to you and others, or it might just be a number of smaller things that could make the library easier for you to use.

Sensory room

Last month a sensory room opened in Augustine House. The sensory room is a space for students to reset between studying or social sessions. The space has been designed with neurodiverse people in mind with adjustable lighting, comfortable seating and a range of ways to control your sensory experience.

LibrarySearch improvements

Earlier this month we announced that LibrarySearch had received a major new update, introducing a range of features that will give you greater opportunity to explore our print and digital collections, discover complimentary resources to support your studies and enrich your overall discovery experience.
