University to Host the Kent Festival of Science

The University is excited to be hosting the Kent Festival of Science this Easter. On Thursday 5 and Friday 6 April over 1,000 people will flock to our North Holmes Campus for two days of shows, demonstrations and hands-on fun.

The festival is primarily aimed at children from the ages of six to 13 and their parents, but there are many activities aimed at younger children, and adults of all ages will find fun and interesting things to do.

If you’d like to buy tickets for the festival, they are available on the Kent Festival of Science website.

Some of the activities will be led by Christ Church academics and the University see that the festival is a fantastic opportunity to promote our growth in STEM subjects and the new KM EDGE Hub. By using our campus for this festival, we can engage the local Kent community in these areas, helping with recruitment and engagement.
