Green Impact is once again kicking off at Canterbury Christ Church University, and the EcoChaplaincy team have a very exciting new project…

Creating a vegetable garden allotment!

On Thursday 22 November, you’re welcome to drop by the Chaplaincy Centre any time you fancy from 9.30am until 3.30pm when we will be out in force helping to get the ground ready for this new student and staff-led garden.

If you have always wanted to learn about how to tend a garden and grow your own food, but didn’t know where to begin, this is the perfect opportunity. The CCCU Grounds Team will be there all day, to support and guide us.

We will be uprooting some shrubs and building raised beds. We might even plant some bulbs too, as they will look beautiful when they blossom in the spring next year.

Teas and light bites will be available to refresh and sustain you after the gardening.
