Politics Students Shine on BBC Free Speech TV Show

Members from the Politics Society were invited to participate in the BBC Free Speech TV show as it broadcast live from Margate last week.  The show is available to watch on BBC iPlayer here.  Our students are lined up behind the presenter’s shoulder on the top row and behind the TV screen showing the tweets!

The main focus of the debate was immigration and our students had plenty of intelligent and well-informed contributions to make.  Our Third year student Bronwen Edwards makes a contribution at 11 minutes 41 seconds and our Second year student John Morris makes a point at 23 minutes 13 seconds.

It was great work by the Politics Society organisers Ryan Barnett and Jack Brooks to arrange the participation.  Great work and you are all great representatives of the Politics and IR programme!
