Join us for a discussion about the Postgraduate Study Space Area in Augustine House.
Our next event is on the 28th of April (15:00 – 15:45) with follow-up dates across May. You can book your slot or let us know your availability through the form.
We have listened to the feedback from our postgraduates and research students about how you use the postgraduate study area in Augustine House…
While we are glad that you enjoy having a dedicated area to study in, discuss research and socialise, there were also lots of helpful ideas for improving your study experience further.

Many of the responses revealed issues with the current third-floor location. The main need for improvements has arisen from complaints about noise disturbance, high foot traffic caused by the moving shelves, and the fact that the space didn’t feel enclosed enough, as it is also frequently used by undergraduates.

Come along and give us your final thoughts!
To hear how we are going to resolve these issues, we encourage you, our Postgraduate and Research community, to come along to a session where library staff will share the current plans for relocation and improvement! We will be taking all things: furniture, the layout, behaviour expectations and more…
Give us some final feedback on the plans so this study space can be a true reflection of your study needs!
What are the closing tweaks you would make before the relocation plans are set in motion?
Are you satisfied with the planned changes?
Click the link attached below to let us know of your interest in coming along to a session and hearing about the updates.
Although we are always open to receiving feedback on your study spaces, even after the updates are complete, any final thoughts at this stage will be really beneficial in creating the ideal space for you!
In closing, we hope you are pleased with the new space, feel a stronger sense of community, and feel heard, in that the library is always here to enhance your university experience.
