Developing a school-based intervention to promote positive attitudes towards children with postural care needs
This project is funded by the Richard Benjamin Trust. The project will develop and evaluate a school-based intervention to improve the attitudes of non-disabled school children towards children with postural care needs. The evaluation will pilot the effectiveness of the disability simulation in facilitating positive attitudes amongst non-disabled school children towards children with postural care needs, in order to help promote inclusive school environments.
This project is being carried out by Dr Nicola Abbott (nicola.abbott@canterbury.ac.uk).
