Staff Football

Canterbury Christ Church University welcomes staff players of all ages and abilities, offering a range of opportunities to play football.

Friday Night Football

Our Friday night football sessions are a fun opportunity to get involved in staff sport at the University. These are great sessions regardless of your ability and are the perfect chance to make friends or get to know colleagues in a variety of departments across the institution.

Sessions take place every Friday evening from 17:30 – 19:00, at Canterbury Christ Church University Sports Centre. Each session costs only £3.00 to attend or are included with an activity pass or premium membership.

Spring, Summer and Winter

Seasonal staff football fixtures take place over a 3-10-week period and cost up to £20. These are fun sessions, giving staff the opportunity to play outdoors on a full-size pitch. Details of sessions are released several weeks before fixtures start, giving staff a chance to sign-up.

Tournaments

Staff football tournaments are a fantastic opportunity for those staff that are more competitive to play against other institutions and businesses. Tournaments take place annually and provide the chance to play several games with colleagues against local businesses over a period of several weeks. Tournament dates are released annually.
