How to Support Women in Engineering through CCCU Degree Apprenticeships

Canterbury Christ Church University today celebrates International Women in Engineering Day.

Every year, June 23rd marks the day around the world whereby we honour women in the field of engineering. The day focuses on raising the profile of women who are changing the field of engineering one degree at a time. It has been recognized by UNESCO and is a befitting tribute for the anniversary of the Women’s Engineering Society (WES), which was established on June 23, 1919.

Businesses can support females entering the industry or support those already in employment, by offering them an apprenticeship in engineering. At CCCU our degree apprenticeship offers employers the opportunity to develop new and existing staff in the field of engineering.
