Want to add Microsoft Office Specialist to your CV? We’re committed to supporting you .
We’d love to invite you to join us in three different workshops; Word, PowerPoint and Excel. They’re over three weeks, and take place on Tuesday or Thursday lunchtimes, so you can see which works for you – just click here to book on.
Once you have attended these workshops, you’ll feel more confident to take the exam. As yet, Microsoft aren’t offering these remotely (we’ll keep you posted if this changes). Whether you’re a current student, or within 3 years of graduation, you’ll be welcome to join us at Augustine House to take the exams – which we’ll schedule with you when it’s safe to do so.
These great and practical skills will help you prove your competency to employers, and help you improve your knowledge and confidence.
In the post-pandemic working world, it’ll be more important than ever for you to be able to prove IT skills to an employer who may encourage working remotely… and it’s a fantastic title for you to add your CV – ‘Microsoft Specialist’ – very snazzy!
How do I get involved? You’ll need to book on via our Eventbrite page, which can be found here. Once you’ve booked on, you’ll get an automatic email from Eventbrite to confirm your place. Then, the morning of your workshop you’ll be sent a link to enter. If you realise you can’t attend for any reason, do let us know on careers@canterbury.ac.uk so we can offer your place to someone else.
We look forward to seeing you. Don’t forget – book on to the workshops here!
