This week, Unitemps are looking to fill the following role:

Graduation Steward

The Graduation and Events Team is responsible for the planning, organisation and execution of all Graduation and Award Ceremony events. The team issues invites, manages all graduation related communications and RSVPS and liaises with honorary graduates, VIPs and academic staff. The team arranges all pre and post event logistics with internal departments, external suppliers and venues and ensures the smooth running of the events themselves.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a steward your role can include the following:
•Assisting with setting-up and clearing down of the cathedral/campus
•Assisting with car parking
•Marshalling of graduands & guests at the cathedral/campus and in town
•Registration of graduands
•Assisting with robes & photography
•Checking guest tickets
•Showing guests & staff to their seats
•Assisting with live streaming of ceremonies
•Assisting with celebratory drinks
•Answering general enquiries

Events will take place on the following (please note you will not be expected to work every event):
12th and 13th September 2017
18th November 2017
26th January 2018
2nd February 2018
24th March 2018

Rate of pay: £8.45

Holiday pay: £1.02
