The Collaborative Quilt Project: Embroidery and Appliqué Workshop

Thursday, 31 March, 12-2 pm
Daphne Oram Exhibition Space DO.0.09

Throughout the Jubilee year, CCCU staff and students will be creating a collaborative quilt that brings together our hopes for the natural world as part of the Collaborative Quilt Project.

Join Chantelle Cohen and Iva Sovcikova in this workshop to upcycle, appliqué and embroider canvas squares for the collaborative quilt project.
Workshops are FREE for staff and students and include all materials, including assorted fabrics and threads.

You are welcome to pop in or stay for the whole session. We look forward to seeing you there!

To book a free place, please email tina.atchison–thomas@canterbury.ac.uk

If you would like to participate in the quilt project, but can’t join the workshop, collect a canvas square from the Coleridge House reception area and draw, paint, sew or print a message of hope. We encourage you to use scrap materials to create your image rather than buying new ones. If you would like to include your square in the collaborative quilt project, please return to Coleridge House.

Use the QR code, or click *here* to visit the CQP Padlet and post your images.

Please email the Arts and Culture team if you would like further information artsandculture@canterbury.ac.uk
