After a restful Christmas it’s right back in the action here at Canterbury. Thanks to Francis Sealey at GlobalNet21 NGO a Webinar was organised on 21st January with Andy Love MP for Edmonton North London. Canterbury politics students tweeted their questions to Andy through Francis and via a videolink he answered them.
The topic of the Webinar was ostensibly about political parties in 21st century Britain but after a discussion on this the conversation quickly turned to how parties can engage with young people and make politics relevant to them.
For a first attempt at a Webinar it was a great success and the students are keen to participate in future events with politicians through social media.
