Former British Ambassador John MacGregor gave a presentation to Canterbury Politics students on the topic of “Mexico: silver past golden future?” as part of the Politics Programme’s Making Politics Matter series of events.
Prof John MacGregor, who is a Visiting Professor in International Relations at Canterbury Christ Church University and a former British Ambassador discussed his experience in Mexico, where he spent the last five years (while his wife acted as the British Ambassador to Mexico).
His wide ranging lecture discussed the rich history of Mexico and its people and how this contextualised the recent economic and political progress the country has been making.
