Would you like to join us for an interactive day of motivational keynote speakers, inspiring showcases, creative breakouts, and innovative conversations?

Canterbury Christ Church University, in collaboration with Credera, is proud to announce the inaugural Artificial Intelligence for Business and Enterprise conference. Scheduled for Thursday, May 16th, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, the event will take place at the Verena Holmes Building, our state-of-the-art, £65 million building, home to our dynamic science, technology, health, engineering, and medicine courses.

As businesses seek innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and drive growth, artificial intelligence (AI) emerges as a transformative force. With AI adoption doubling since 2017 and poised for exponential growth, understanding its strategic applications is imperative for organisational success.

AI in business offers numerous practical applications, including leveraging AI algorithms to extract valuable insights from vast datasets (for example, consumer behaviour patterns), enabling informed decision-making and personalised customer experiences. This can benefit an organisation by allowing them to tailor strategies and enhance user experience. Initiatives like GenAI facilitate economic advantages by driving research and development (R&D) efforts, fostering innovation, and creating competitive edges through the implementation of AI technologies across various sectors. The conference offers a unique opportunity for business leaders to delve into the realm of AI, gaining insights from national and international trends, exploring current and future research directions, and envisioning AI’s role in shaping future investments and workforce dynamics and skills.

Keynote speakers from The Alan Turing Institute, Veraxis, Credera and CapGemini will provide invaluable perspectives on navigating the evolving landscape of AI technology. Attendees will engage in practical workshops, demystifying AI challenges, and interact with the future workforce showcasing groundbreaking research projects in the field.

Keir Bowden, CTO Salesforce – UK Digital at Credera and keynote speaker said: “As a consultancy firm deeply entrenched in the realm of AI, we understand the transformative power it holds for businesses. Our sponsorship of Canterbury Christ Church University’s ‘AI for Business & Enterprise Conference’ underscores our commitment to accelerating organisations through cutting-edge AI solutions. Abbie Kempe, Director of Enterprise and Engagement at Canterbury Christ Church University said:
