Last month, an exhibition of Goran Stefanovski’s plays, screenplays, lectures, articles and book chapters were displayed in a special exhibition in Augustine House.
The exhibition was opened by Pat Marsh, Goran’s widow and those reflecting on Goran’s life and work included Biljana Gligorova, Head of Mission, North Macedonia Embassy, UK, Professor Alison Honour, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Neil Donohue, Head of Library Services, and Professor Alastair Borthwick, Head of the School of Creative Arts and Industries where Goran worked.
The event was organised by Dr Ken Fox, a colleague of Goran’s from the School of Creative Arts and Industries. Over 40 people attended including guests from outside the University and former colleagues of Goran’s.
Goran, who worked as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Creative Arts and Industries (2002-2018), was a renowned dramatist, screenwriter, teacher, public intellectual and a source of inspiration for many of our Film, Radio and Television and Film Production alumni.
