This blog is intended to bring together the many aspects of the Great Stour River in Kent. This river rises in the village of Lenham, flows through Ashford, Canterbury and Sandwich, and finally out into Pegwell Bay in the English Channel. It is and has been of major importance to the area.

Scientific reports from both researchers and undergraduates on the river will be published. It is hoped that this material may be of use to others. All contributions in this area are welcome and should be sent to the any of the contacts listed on the contacts page.
