Creating a Rubric or Grading Form

There are two places in Turnitin where you can create a Rubric or Grading Form from scratch – either during the creation of the Assignment, or through a student’s submission in the Feedback Studio. Both methods attach and apply the rubric to all papers being submitted to the relevant Assignment.

Creating a Rubric or Grading Form during Assignment Creation

When creating an assignment, the optional online grading settings allow you to either attach an existing rubric or create a new rubric by launching the Rubric/Form Manager.

For Blackboard Original: Follow Turnitin’s guide on how to create a rubric at this stage.
For Blackboard Ultra: Follow Turnitin’s guide on how to create a rubric at this stage.

Creating a Rubric or Grading Form in the Feedback Studio

Once students have started to submit, you can add a rubric by opening any submission made to the relevant Assignment. This will open the paper in the usual Turnitin Feedback Studio window.

For Blackboard Original: Follow Turnitin’s guide on how to create a rubric at this stage.
For Blackboard Ultra: Follow Turnitin’s guide on how to create a rubric at this stage.
