What you will need:
- Egg carton
- Herb seeds
Poke a hole using a push pin into the blunt end of an egg and wiggle it around to enlarge the hole a little bit. Then carefully crack the top third of the egg and remove it. Rinse carefully and allow to dry.
Once dry, arrange the eggshells into the egg tray.
Fill each shell 3/4 of the way with the soil. Put two or three seeds in each one and press them gently into the soil. Then cover with a bit more soil.
Give each cup a light watering, just enough to make it moist, but not flooded, and put the tray on a sunny windowsill. Keep the soil moist, and in two to three weeks you should see the seeds start to sprout.
Keep them watered and watch your new plant babies flourish.
To use in cooking just trim off what you need and keep watering as before, the leaves will grow back.
