Returning to campus after Easter Break.

We are looking forward to welcoming those students who are returning to campus after the Easter Break.

With the continued easing of lockdown we are able to open up more facilities and services on campus. In addition to our Library and study spaces being open, we are pleased to confirm that Student Support, i-zone and IT Teams are now available at Augustine House. Our catering outlets, gym and bookshop have also reopened.

Did you know that the government is expecting all students in term time accommodation or accessing any University facilities (even if you do not have on campus teaching) to take a regular COVID-19 test.

Getting Tested

The testing COVID-19 programme is vital in keeping everyone on campus safe.

On returning to university, the government is recommending that students take three tests at an on-site testing facility (3-4 days apart).

You should then test twice a week, either using home test kits or at an onsite facility. Click here to book your test.

Staying Safe

The campus is a COVID secure environment, and we all have a role in remembering to follow the government guidelines to keep each other safe:

  • Hands – wash your hands regularly and for at least 20 seconds,
  • Face – wear a face covering when inside all University buildings,
  • Space – stay 2 metres apart from people you do not live with where possible, or 1 metre with extra precautions in place (such as wearing face coverings),
  • Fresh Air – keep indoor rooms well ventilated.
