The CCCU research team have launched free online training in Assistive Technology (AT) for CCCU students and staff.

The training is suitable for those who currently work with AT, those who may work with AT in the future, or those who have an interest in the use of AT in healthcare.  On completion of the training unit, learners will be issued with a certificate of completion, which can be added to study portfolios and used to demonstrate CPD. The online module takes about 1 hour and you can do it in stages, completing it in your own time.

This is part of  an EU funded ADAPT Project (Assistive Devices for empowering disAbled People through robotic Technologies) and aims to provide professionals and students with an increased awareness and understanding of Assistive Technology and related areas..

If you wish to enrol on Foundations of AT, please email adapt.training@canterbury.ac.uk.  If you have any other queries regarding the training or the wider project, please email adapt@canterbury.ac.uk.
