From 25 January, i-zone, Library Point and IT Hub teams will be providing virtual support from 9am – 8pm Monday – Friday and 11am – 4pm at weekends.
This is in recognition of the different types of support students may need during this lockdown, with many busy with childcare and caring responsibilities in the day, as well as many of our students being on placements at this time.
All service will be offering email support, but i-zone and Library Point will also be offering telephone and live chat throughout these times.
Drill Hall Virtual Support
Library & IT Service Desks in the Drill Hall Library will remain closed at present but are working towards being able to safely open these in the future. For any general library enquiries or questions about your library account, email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
IT enquiries will continue to be responded to remotely via dhl-ITsupport@gre.ac.uk
On Campus Support
During lockdown wherever possible, students should remain where they are currently living and should not travel to access university facilities until the resumption of their on-campus teaching.
Services should only be accessed in person for essential purposes only and are available as follows:
- Library and IT team at Augustine House between 10am – 3pm Monday to Friday. You can also book a face to face appoint with i-zone during these times.
- IT support at the Medway Campus between the hours of 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday.
- Salomons between the hours of 09:00-17:00 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
As we come out of lockdown, we will review our services to ensure that we continue to meet the changing needs of our students.
