FUNDING YOUR STUDIES AT CHRIST CHURCH 2018
Getting your funding for University sorted and starting to plan your budget before you arrive is essential. We’ve got the support to help you do just that.
If you haven’t already applied for Student Finance England (SFE)yet here is a handy film to explain everything you need to know. It can take at least 6 weeks to process an application by Student Finance England – so don’t delay in getting your application in!
Please Note: It is important to update your funding body and the university of any changes to your personal circumstances (e.g. a last minute change of course applied for) to ensure that your funding application is successfully processed.
Your time at the University should be stress free and enjoyable, so plan ahead and start to think about how you might manage your finances. Our CCCU Student Vlogger Charley has lots of great tips on budgeting and finding a job while at Uni.
If you are having problems with your student finance application or you are worried that what you have been offered may not be sufficient to cover costs whilst at University, our Student Support and Wellbeing Advisers can help with:
- Undergraduate and Postgraduate funding (full and part-time courses)
- University Bursaries and Scholarships
- Budgeting and Money Management
You can drop in to see the Student Support and Wellbeing Advisers face to face, or by telephone on 01227 922675. The advisers also respond to emails throughout the year, so if you’d prefer, you can email them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We know that there can be certain times throughout the year when individuals experience unexpected financial hardship. So do remember, the Student Wellbeing Advisers will not only help with your finance enquiries before coming to University, they will help you throughout your time with us, just in case something unexpected does crop up.
