Exciting new Connect events – including dog walking, horse-riding, ice skating and trip to Wildwood.

Connect is our new programme of activities to help students to make new friends, try something new and take time out in a COVID safe way. They are all free – so what are you going to give a go?

Connect with Dog Walking

Weekly from 3 November, 1-3pm, transport pick up from Old Sessions House

Connect with dog walking, working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds! Join K9 Kindergarten for a dog walking experience like no other. K9 Kindergarten specialise in providing a professionally run, fully supervised, licensed Day Care Centre for dogs. They have built their reputation by committing the very best supervision and social development for every dog entrusted into their care. Safe socialisation is their number one priority with all dogs supervised at all times. Their staff are experienced dog handlers, professionally accredited in dog care and have a real passion for their job.

Your dog walking experience will enable you to interact with a variety of dogs under the supervision of K9 Kindergarten staff. All transportation provided, collection and return from Old Sessions House.

A Walk at Wildwood

8 November, 9.30am, transport pick up from Old Sessions House

Join the Sustainability Team for a relaxing stroll through woodland surroundings at Wildwood, a wildlife park dedicated to British animals, located half-way between Canterbury and Herne Bay. Hear more about the personal stories of some of the residents, such as Fluff and Scruff the Brown Bears, and discover some of the ways that Wildwood is helping to protect our native wildlife.

Connect with Horse Riding

22  November, 12:30 – 13:30,  transport pick up from Old Sessions House

Get to grips with horse riding under the guidance of Barton Field Farm Equestrian Centre. Horse riding is an activity open to all ages and all abilities, it’s never too early or too late to start learning. Being around horses and ponies has been shown to benefit people in many different ways – it’s great for your physical fitness, mental wellbeing and relieving stress. It’s also a chance to meet other people from lots of different backgrounds who share a common interest.

Join us for this fun and exciting introduction to horse riding session. All transportation provided, collection and return from Old Sessions House.

Connect with Ice Skating

27 November 12:00 – 13:00, transport pick up from Old Sessions House

Get skating in time for Christmas with this Connect with Ice Skating session. Skates are provided as part of your Connect experience. All transportation provided, collection and return from Old Sessions House.
