IT training

Did you know you there’s a range of IT training available to you as a Christ Church student? Highlights include:

  • Microsoft Office training and qualifications: Our IT and Careers & Enterprise Teams have teamed up to provide you with the opportunity to gain some free additional qualifications, to prove your IT skills on any future job application.   • Cyber Security Awareness training: We’ve teamed up with KnowBe4, a world leader in security awareness, to offer Christ Church students exclusive access to series of short, fun and interactive training modules to help improve your skills in key aspects of cyber security – from choosing a better password to spotting the tell-tale signs of phishing. Find out more and sign up today.

IT drop-ins

If you need additional support, training, or have questions about the Microsoft Office Suite in general, drop-in sessions are run throughout the year. You can book a session and view our IT trainers’ availability by clicking here. Plus, during Academic Development Week they are running additional drop-ins on Canterbury campus in Lg47, there are:

  • Monday 25 October: 9am – 11am
  • Tuesday 26 October: 2pm – 4pm
  • Wednesday 27 October: 2pm – 4pm
  • Thursday 28 October: 10am – 12pm

Productivity tools & software

We provide a range of free productivity tools, apps and software to assist with your learning, support your studies, ensure accessibility and enable you to reach your full potential. Discover notetaking tools, apps for time management and so much more…

Student App Store

As a student you can access all the software you might need for your programme for free through the Student App Store or Virtual Campus PC tool. Watch this handy video guide for more information:
