  • Cover Letters & Applications: 4 Feb, 1pm, Careers & Enterprise Hub. Come along for advice and guidance on your cover letter and applications.
  • Unitemps Working Seminar: 5 Feb, 12:30pm, Careers & Enterprise Hub. Come along to learn how to write a great CV and understand why an informative covering letter can make all the difference.
  • Presentation Skills: 11 Feb, 12pm, Careers & Enterprise Hub. This workshop will prepare you to make professional presentations, whatever role you step into next.
  • Psychometric Testing: 20 Feb, 1pm, Careers & Enterprise Hub. Come and learn about how this interview stage works, and have a go!

  • GRADFORCE presents GET HIRED! 7 Feb, 12pm, The Lounge. Come along for some top tips in searching for that graduate job to kick-start your career. There will be lots of free food available!
  • Career Wellbeing in… Leaving Uni: 18 Feb, 1pm, Careers & Enterprise Hub. Come and learn about the transition from University to the world of work in the context of your mental health & wellbeing.
  • Alumni: Staying in touch with CCCU: 25 Feb, 1pm, Careers & Enterprise Hub. If you’re graduating with us soon, or have already graduated, come and meet our Alumni team and find out how you can stay in touch!

March Highlights

Build your skills…

  • Sustainable Business: Sew your own with Aunty Flo: 9 March, 1pm, Careers & Enterprise Hub. Come and make your own reusable sanitary pads or eco-swap toiletries, and learn about Aunty Flo’s Business and charity work.
  • Interview Preparation: 12 March, 12pm, Careers & Enterprise Hub. Come along and see the different types of interviews that recruiters use and learn some top tips on how to prepare for your interview.

Plan for your future and prepare for the world of work…

  • On the sofa with… Karl Cowell: 4 March, 1pm, Careers and Enterprise Hub. We’ll be joined on the sofa by Karl, who’s all about running a business whilst studying. 
  • LAUNCH (Life After Uni): 11 March, 10am-4pm, Careers & Enterprise Hub. Whether you’ve got your plans completely sorted, or still aren’t sure – come along, and you’ll go away with fresh thinking, and maybe even plans too!
  • HSBC Financial Wellbeing: Starting Your Career: 24 March or 25 March, 1pm, Careers & Enterprise Hub. HSBC Financial Wellbeing team are offering a free workshop to think about how you can look after your money as you begin earning. Also, throughout the day, HSBC will be offering Financial Health Checks, for free. Book your appointment on the Careers and Enterprise Online Hub

Volunteering Pop-Ups

Throughout February & March there will also be regular volunteer pop-ups in Touchdown, Laud. Meet local charities, ask any questions and find out how you can get involved this year.
