Research shows that views of nature can help us slow down, boost our mood, improve our concentration, and support our wellbeing. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>So, we are asking you to share your photos on a different natural theme each day \u2013 to inspire, energise and connect with our wonderful CCCU community during this week. And as a thank you, every participant will be entered into a prize draw to win a \u00a330 University Bookshop voucher!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To enter post your photos on\u00a0<strong>Twitter tagging @CCCU_SD or @CCCUStudents<\/strong>\u00a0or on\u00a0<strong>Instagram tagging @canterburyccun<\/strong>i. Whether it is bluebells or blossom, fluffy white lambs or the first sighting of a butterfly we want you to share a photo that encapsulates for you the optimism of this special season.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tuesday \u2013 We do like to be beside the seaside<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/studentnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/425\/2021\/05\/shutterstock_217250518.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-52957 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Situated in the South East we are fortunate to never be far away from the coast \u2013 from open skies to large sandy beaches, from charming seaside towns to iconic white cliffs. And there is nothing like the fresh sea air to help you feel invigorated with lots of coastal activities to enjoy. So today we want you to share your passion for all things coastal. \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wednesday \u2013 Fur and Feathers<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/studentnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/425\/2021\/05\/shutterstock_489586786.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-52950 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Whether it is listening to bird song, going on a bug hunt or feeding a hedgehog, connecting to the wildlife around us helps us appreciate how we are all part of one big, amazing ecosystem. There is nothing like a photo of a charming bird, cute animal or interesting insect to make us smile- you can also include photos of your not so wild pets, because that is always a wellbeing winner!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Thursday \u2013 Skies and Sunsets<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/studentnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/425\/2021\/05\/shutterstock_706726291.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-52953 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">A dramatic sky or a glorious sunset are just some of nature\u2019s awe-inspiring spectacles. And we are sure many of you have captured these precious fleeting moments on camera \u2013 we look forward to seeing them as part of today\u2019s nature photos.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Friday \u2013 Flower Power<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/studentnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/425\/2021\/05\/shutterstock_396937144.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-52954 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Flowers make people happy \u2013 it is as simple as that!
