But sometimes it can feel like there just aren&#8217;t enough hours in the day. Especially now. Or, on the other hand, you may now be faced with extra time you did not anticipate, with those things you had planned now on hold &#8211; but are not sure how to engage with development virtually. Well, whatever your situation, e-learning can help. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>One of the benefits\nof e-learning is that you can complete online courses when it suits you and\nwork through the content at your pace. Online courses do not need to be\ncompleted in one sitting and, should you need to revisit the content to refresh\nyour learning, you can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our <a href=\"https:\/\/cccu.canterbury.ac.uk\/hr-and-od\/organisational-and-people-development\/e-learning.aspx\">E-Learning Portal<\/a> has a range of courses available for you. Some of which are listed below:&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bribery Act<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This 30 minute\nmodule will help you understand the Bribery Act 2010 and how it affects the way\nyou need to work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Equality and Diversity Essentials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a new\nmodule, which was added at the beginning of this academic year. It will help\nyou understand what equality, diversity and inclusion is and how all play a\npositive role to break down barriers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GDPR &#8211; General Data Protection Regulations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone is\nresponsible for ensuring we handle personal data properly, securely and\naccording to the legislation. This module will help you understand and follow\nthe General Data Protection Regulations and should be completed each year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Information Security Awareness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This module will\nhelp you protect your information while working online. It covers the common\nthreats and how to counter them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Protecting Students&#8217; Consumer Rights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn what consumer\nprotection means in the context of Higher Education, what you should and should\nnot do in terms of the law and why it&#8217;s so important. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>REF 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This module is aimed\nfor those who are involved in the REF 2021 submission. It focuses on\nunconscious bias and equality, diversity and inclusion and how hidden biases\nmight impact our decision-making. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Supporting Students at CCCU (part 1): Students with\nDisabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This modules will\nintroduce you to the current legislation surrounding the Equality Act 2010, the\nDisabled Student Allowances and explore the different models of disability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Supporting Students at CCCU (part 2): Effective\nPastoral Support and Services available<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of this\nmodule is to equip staff with an understanding of the range of support services\navailable for students studying at the University campuses.
