As they adapt to support their beneficiaries in different ways, the need for professionals with the skills and expertise to help them transition is even greater.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>With many volunteer opportunities such as the NHS Volunteer Responders now oversubscribed, there are lots of willing and able people keen to help, but without an outlet for their time.&nbsp; If you are one of those people who has some time to give, then there are still lots of smaller charities who could benefit from your professional knowhow.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As has been discussed before <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/staffdevelopment\/what-do-i-get-out-of-volunteering\/\">in this blog<\/a>, volunteering provides benefits to you as well as the organisation you are volunteering for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/strongerkentcommunities.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Stronger Kent Communities<\/a> have been coordinating the requirements of charities across Kent and are looking for skilled volunteers who can support across a range of areas, including:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>HR&nbsp;<\/li><li>IT&nbsp;<\/li><li>Finance<\/li><li>Business Development and Planning&nbsp;<\/li><li>Project Management&nbsp;<\/li><li>Social Media&nbsp;<\/li><li>Design&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>More details of the charities and their requirements can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/cccu.canterbury.ac.uk\/hr-and-od\/organisational-and-people-development\/docs\/Current-Skilled-Volunteering-Tasks-to-consider.xlsx\">here<\/a>.&nbsp;
