GP\u2019s, Psychiatrists, psychologists, and trainee doctors<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social Workers; Nursing; and Allied Health \u2013 Post Registration<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pharmacists<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event was designed in close collaboration with Service-Users and includes Service-User involvement, mostly in commentary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an interdisciplinary Mental Health Simulation-Based Event, addressing Personality, Psychotic, and Depressive Disorders <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event provides an opportunity for multiagency and interdisciplinary practitioners to participate in, observe, question, and reflect on, working together in an inclusive simulation environment which is made safe for both service-users and practitioners. This facilitates learning with and from each other as being the sole objective, rather than necessarily secondary to care and efficient, effective, management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developed from our previous physical simulation events, evaluated by participants as proven to provide  valuable learning and development and promote improvement through collaborative investigation, reflection, and insight. Simulation-based scenarios and experiential activities combine to focus on the clinical manifestation of psychosis, depression, and personality disorders and strategies for collaboration in care systems to improve outcomes, efficiency, and promote wellbeing for the service user and practitioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evidence from our previous work demonstrates that learning outcomes focus on the development and enhancement of non-technical skills such as communication, situational awareness, proactive decision-making, and can inform partnership across agencies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event has been designed and will be delivered by the S4MH team at CCCU as part of the HEE KSS regional simulation and human factors project<\/p>\n\n\n\n
