Magz Hall is a sound and radio artist with work exhibited at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, British Museum, Tate Britain, the Sainsbury Centre, Whitechapel Gallery, V and A, Jerwood Visual Arts, Barbican,MACBA Barcelona, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Norway, Morocco, Canada and the USA and broadcast internationally.

Magz Hall: Two Exhibitions!
Magz Hall has two sound exhibitions running this term: The Ash Archive and the Art for Environment Exhibition.
Words n Waves: Sidney Cooper Gallery
On 15th February at 7pm, there will be the first performance by a new collective which fuses literary performance and theatre with contemporary sound design and visual elements. The short performance at the Sidney Cooper Gallery in Canterbury will feature reinterpreted scenes from Macbeth as well as contemporary poems and explore the relationship between text, sound and mental fragility. This event is free and tickets can be booked here.
Work in Progress: Sarah Gail Brand
Sarah Gail Brand will be presenting her research in the first work in progress session this term on 30th January at 5-6pm, in MDf08.
Workshop: Notation for Improvisers
Christopher Williams will be running a workshop/presentation on creating and performing notation for improvising musicians. This will be held on 25th Jan at 2-4pm, in MDg01.
