Some days are harder than others. And while developing a keen understanding of how to conduct political research well is an important part of any politics curriculum, there are times when (if we are honest), it’s not the most fun thing to be thinking about. Especially when the sun is shining outside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
And so it was that our students took a well-deserved break from their Political Research workshop to help\u00a0plant more than 400 hedgerow saplings outside our new Verena Holmes Building<\/a>. These were granted to CCCU as part of the\u00a0Queen\u2019s Green Canopy Project<\/a>.\u00a0Our Politics and IR degrees have a strong sustainability focus and our students want to take every opportunity to help make the world a better place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Happily, after a little sunshine and some honest manual labour, political research methods made much more sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you would like to join us to study politics and IR and do interesting things on breaks, you can find out more here: <\/p>\n\n\n\n BSc Politics<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
