{"id":8106,"date":"2021-09-20T08:10:34","date_gmt":"2021-09-20T07:10:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/politics\/?p=8106"},"modified":"2021-09-20T08:10:36","modified_gmt":"2021-09-20T07:10:36","slug":"top-20-for-politics-and-ir-in-the-guardian-league-table","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/politics\/2021\/09\/20\/top-20-for-politics-and-ir-in-the-guardian-league-table\/","title":{"rendered":"Top 20 for Politics and IR in the Guardian League Table!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are delighted that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/education\/ng-interactive\/2021\/sep\/11\/best-uk-universities-for-politics-league-table?CMP=gu_com\">Guardian University league tables<\/a> \u2013 University rankings which focus more heavily on student experience and learning \u2013 placed our programme amongst the 20 best Politics and IR programme in the UK for a second year running!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our programme is ranked ahead of numerous Russell Group institutions, and remains the best Politics &amp; IR programme from a post-92, widening participation! In particular, we have been ranked as one of the best Politics and IR programmes in the UK in the following categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Student Satisfaction with the Course: 2nd (93.4%)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Student Satisfaction with Teaching and Learning: 4th (93%)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Student Satisfaction with Feedback: 2nd (84.2%)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Value Added (a measure of how students\u2019 academic performance improves at university): 16th (7\/10), with University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Durham, Bristol, and Warwick (amongst other Universities).
