{"id":1508,"date":"2015-10-26T09:27:37","date_gmt":"2015-10-26T09:27:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canterburypolitics.wordpress.com\/?p=1508"},"modified":"2018-09-11T10:03:02","modified_gmt":"2018-09-11T09:03:02","slug":"centre-for-european-studies-announces-winner-of-its-first-graduate-studentship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/politics\/2015\/10\/26\/centre-for-european-studies-announces-winner-of-its-first-graduate-studentship\/","title":{"rendered":"Centre for European Studies announces winner of its first graduate studentship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canterbury.ac.uk\/cefeus\">Centre for European Studies<\/a>\u00a0(CEFEUS) is delighted to announce that it has awarded its first one-year graduate Studentship to Politics and International Relations PhD student Francesco Violi.\u00a0 Francesco graduated with a degree in Economics from at the University of Pavia (Italy) in 2014, and went on to study Diplomacy at the Institute for International Political Studies (<em>Istituto di Studi di Politica Internazionale, ISPI<\/em>) in Milan, graduating in 2015. Francesco joined the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canterbury.ac.uk\/politics\">Politics &amp; IR<\/a> team at CCCU in September 2015, and will be examining \u2018New paths of asymmetrical federalism in the EU: the Eurozone as federal system\u2019 under the watchful eye of his supervisor, Dr Soeren Keil.
