{"id":1092,"date":"2014-12-03T12:19:34","date_gmt":"2014-12-03T12:19:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/canterburypolitics.wordpress.com\/?p=1092"},"modified":"2018-09-18T11:47:09","modified_gmt":"2018-09-18T10:47:09","slug":"eu-diplomat-guest-lectures-for-politics-and-ir-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/politics\/2014\/12\/03\/eu-diplomat-guest-lectures-for-politics-and-ir-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"EU Diplomat Guest Lectures for Politics and IR Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Deputy Head of the China Division\u00a0at the EU External Action Service\u00a0(EEAS) <a href=\"http:\/\/uklibdems.eu\/en\/contact\/george-cunningham\">Mr. George Cunningham <\/a>participated as a guest lecturer for two taught modules for the Politics and IR programmes on 27\/11\/14. \u00a0<!--more-->For our Level 6 Jean Monnet Chair module on European Strategic Culture, \u00a0taught by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canterbury.ac.uk\/social-and-applied-sciences\/psychology-politics-and-sociology\/Staff\/Profile.aspx?staff=0109c1dd7a7bb570\">Dr Amelia Hadfield<\/a>, Mr. Cunningham gave an insightful account of the day-to-day work of the EEAS , and the foreign policy challenges currently facing the EU more generally.
