James was a 2009 Teach First trainee and so Canterbury has a special connection with him. NICER has been thrilled to work with him and the team at the Foundation over the last few years. These have been marked by its initiatives to develop <a href=\"https:\/\/cofefoundation.contentfiles.net\/media\/assets\/file\/Church_of_England_Vision_for_Education_-_2016_jdYA7EO.pdf\">a vision for education<\/a>, a project to support the development of <a href=\"http:\/\/canterbury.ac.uk\/education\/our-work\/research-knowledge-exchange\/national-institute-christian-education-research\/docs\/nicer-what-if-learning-report.pdf\">Character education<\/a>, and their resource to <a href=\"https:\/\/cofefoundation.contentfiles.net\/media\/assets\/file\/CEFEL_LeadershipCharacter_Report_WEB.pdf\">develop leadership<\/a> in these areas, initiatives which the work of NICER has been able to support. We look forward to continuing to work with the Foundation and are inspired by its ambitions.
