The wonderful Top Voices gave the lunchtime concert on the 26thFebruary. This high voices choir, newly established in September and directed by Chris Price, performed a diverse range of a cappella pieces ranging from the Renaissance to the Twentieth Century. The choir displayed a brilliant skill for communicating emotion through close-harmony storytelling in the varied repertoire and were clearly very close as a group. Some beautiful solos were sung and the choir created a very relaxed, positive and supportive atmosphere for the concert. Chris Price introduced each song in his well-known, entertaining way and created some lovely arrangements of well-known and not so familiar songs for the choir to perform.
